At the "Starting Over" shelter, we rescue and rehabilitate hundreds of animals each year who have suffered from abuse and neglect, and here they receive a chance to live a life of freedom and love. Currently, the shelter is home to hundreds of animals - donkeys, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, pigeons, cats, dogs, and many more... We respond to rescue calls every day.

Needed:

Volunteers for the shelter's ongoing operations (located in Moshav Herut) - physical work including helping with the cleaning of the animal areas, cat care, assisting with physiotherapy, and lots of love for our residents - we are looking for people who can come regularly once a week on a fixed day. Unfortunately, we currently cannot accommodate one-time volunteering.

Additionally, if you have any expertise that you think could help us, we would be very happy!

Volunteer hours are:

Sun-Thu: 10:30 - 15:00

Fri-Sat: 11:00 - 15:00

Please note:

The shelter is located in Moshav Herut (near Tel Mond).

Volunteers will be required to sign a health declaration and commitment form.

Volunteering is for ages 18 and up.

There is no possibility of overnight stay.
