Meet Natalie :)

Natalie is a happy and friendly donkey foal! She knows how to encourage everyone and can make an entire herd join her in playing and running!

Natalie suffered horrific abuse from children. She was tied and dragged around a field until she broke one of the vertebrae in her neck. Luckily there wasn’t a dislocation between the vertebrae.

Soldiers rescued her. She arrived at the sanctuary injured, bleeding,  malnourished and dehydrated. She couldn’t stand on her own without help for a month.

After 3 months Natalie was completely rehabilitated!

 Today, against all the odds Natalie is a happy, healthy and beautyful foal that lives in our herd of rehabilitated donkeys.
